IU VC Meets Prime Minister in Dhaka

‎The Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University (IU), Bangladesh, Professor Dr A K M Motinur Rahman, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on September 11 at the Prime Minister’s office in Gulshan.
‎
‎A press release of the Information, Publication and Public Relation office of the university confirmed the matter.
‎
‎During the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor briefed the Prime Minister on the overall academic environment, ongoing development initiatives, and overall progress of the university. He brought several critical institutional matters to the Prime Minister’s attention, notably requesting support for the formal inauguration of the newly built ‘Abrar Fahad Hall’.
‎
‎As a gesture of goodwill, Professor Dr Rahman presented copies of several scholarly books he authored to the Prime Minister. Accepting the gift, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman expressed optimism about the university’s potential and reiterated his support for expanding higher education and research excellence at IU.

‎University stakeholders and faculty members believe this high-level engagement will significantly boost future administrative, research, and infrastructural developments across the campus.
