Golden globes generates $133.5m economic impact

The 83rd Annual Golden Globes generated an estimated $133.5 million in economic impact for Beverly Hills and the Greater Los Angeles region, according to a report by Greyhill Advisors and Dick Clark Productions.

The 2026 event supported around 550 full-time equivalent jobs and generated $43.9 million in increased employee earnings.

Attendees and visitors contributed $39.8 million through personal care, hotels, restaurants, retail, transportation and security services, while events during “Golden Week” generated another $16.8 million.

Meanwhile, Dick Clark Productions’ local production activities contributed $77 million to the Los Angeles economy. The Golden Globes and related programmes also reached millions of viewers worldwide, further boosting the region’s global profile.

The Golden Globes, one of Hollywood’s most prominent awards ceremonies, continues to play an important role in attracting visitors and generating business activity in the region.
