Prominent actor and singer Mukul Jamil passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest on Sunday (September 13) night, leaving the entertainment industry in mourning.

Mukul Jamil died suddenly after his heart stopped, prompting widespread condolences across social media from colleagues in the music and acting fraternities.

In an official statement, the Actors Equity Bangladesh expressed deep grief, paying tribute to the late artist and honoring his soul. Mukul Jamil developed a passion for Rabindra Sangeet during childhood under the guidance of his sister.

Over his career, he contributed to more than 30 mixed music albums and released a solo album titled “Ami To Emoni.”

His popular tracks include “Mon,” “Achha,” “Billboard,” “Bhalobashar Mane,” and “Phaguner Hawa,” while his song “Chayer Chumuke” gained wide recognition on ATN Bangla. Alongside his musical career, Mukul Jamil worked in films, appearing in notable projects such as “Wedding Bells (2019),” “Amanush (2022),” and “Chhatri Bou (2024).”
