Bangladesh reports 6 more measles-related deaths

Six more children died with suspected measles symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours, while 1,239 new measles cases were reported during the same period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

However, no deaths from laboratory-confirmed measles were recorded during this period, the DGHS said in its regular health bulletin on Tuesday.

According to the health authorities, 1,162 patients were hospitalised in the last 24 hours.
