Teacher killed in bus-motorcycle crash in Banasree

A teacher of Milestone School was killed in a bus-motorcycle collision in front of Farazi Hospital in Banasree, Dhaka, on Wednesday night (September 16).
The deceased was identified as Tasfia Ahmed Tisha, 31. She was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition around 9:30 PM, where doctors declared her dead.
Her brother Enam Ahmed said Tisha was travelling on a Pathao motorcycle when a Ramjan Paribahan bus coming from the opposite direction hit the motorcycle. Passersby and police took her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Enam said the bus and its driver were taken into police custody.
Habibur Rahman, inspector-in-charge of the DMCH police camp, confirmed the death. He said the body was kept at the hospital morgue and the matter was reported to the concerned police station.
