AIUB among top five winners at Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026

The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) has been recognised as one of the top five winners of the University Innovation Exhibition Award at the Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026.

The three-day fair was held from September 12 to 14 at Novo Theatre in Dhaka. Organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the event was held under the theme “Innovate to Market.”

The fair brought together universities, researchers, innovators, industries, investors, policymakers, teachers and students to promote innovation and turn research and technology into practical solutions.

More than 70 public and private universities from across Bangladesh took part in the fair. Of them, only five universities were selected for the University Innovation Exhibition Award.

AIUB’s stall showcased different projects and technology-based solutions developed by its students, faculty members and researchers. The stall attracted government officials, academics, industry representatives, investors and other visitors.

Posts and Telecommunications, IT and Science and Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam and Science and Technology Secretary Md Anwar Hossain visited the AIUB stall and viewed the projects on display.

During the event, AIUB also highlighted its efforts in research, innovation and academic development. The university said the award recognised the contributions of its students, faculty members, researchers and participating teams.

AIUB also thanked its management and relevant offices for supporting research and innovation activities.
