Singer Salma loses her father after prolonged illness

Fazlur Haque, father of renowned singer Moushumi Akter Salma, passed away at his home around 7:00 PM on Wednesday (September 16).

The singer herself confirmed the news through a brief post on social media, writing, "My father is no more."

Fazlur Haque had been suffering from various health complications for a long time. Earlier this month, his condition deteriorated which led to his hospitalization. At the time, Salma shared her father's health update on social media and requested prayers from her fans.

Following the news of his death, a shadow of grief descended upon Salma's family and relatives. Her colleagues and well-wishers from the music industry expressed deep sorrow over the loss.
