The body of a 13-year-old boy, who went missing since Friday afternoon, was recovered from a bush near Cumilla University campus on Saturday.
Police recovered the body of Apratim from a bush near the university’s southern gate at around 1:30PM.
According to police, the boy had suffered severe head injuries. His iPhone, which he had been carrying when he went missing, was not found with the body.
Apratim was a Class VII student at Border Guard Public School. He was the only child of Dr Nahida Begum, an associate professor in the Department of Bangla at Cumilla University, and K M Firoz Shahriar.
