Four cocktails explode in Jatrabari, rickshaw puller injured

Four cocktails exploded in Dhaka’s Jatrabari area on Saturday evening, leaving a rickshaw puller injured, police said.

The explosions took place around 7:35 PM in front of Samad Super Market on the incoming lane of the Dhaka-Mawa Highway at Jatrabari intersection.

The injured man was identified as 32-year-old Md Billal, a rickshaw puller from Char Fasson in Bhola.

Police said unidentified people detonated the four cocktails. Billal was taken to Jatrabari Police Station after the incident and was later taken to hospital for treatment.

Jatrabari police said efforts were underway to identify and arrest those involved. Legal action is in progress.
