B'desh beat South Korea in asian games Kabaddi

Bangladesh defeated strong opponents South Korea 39-35 in the men’s kabaddi event at the Asian Games after a fiercely contested match.

The game remained closely fought from the beginning. Bangladesh led by just one point at halftime, scoring 17 points against South Korea’s 16.

The battle continued in the second half, with Bangladesh adding 22 more points while South Korea scored 19. Bangladesh eventually secured a 39-35 victory.

Bangladesh can strengthen its position in the semifinal and medal race by beating Chinese Taipei this afternoon.

Bangladesh are in Group A alongside India, South Korea, Chinese Taipei and hosts Japan. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.
