Two ministers visit Ashulia fire victims at DMCH

Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Minister Dr Abdul Moin Khan and Labour and Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury visited the burn victims of the Ashulia factory fire at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Monday.

The ministers went to the hospital’s old burn unit at around 4:45 PM and spoke to two patients undergoing treatment there. They also enquired about their condition and treatment.

After the visit, the two ministers provided Tk 50,000 in financial assistance to each patient, hospital sources said.

They left the hospital at around 5:20 PM.

Doctors and officials of the hospital and burn unit were present during the visit.
