100 firecrackers’ powder detonated in Bogura

Police said several individuals collected the powder from nearly 100 firecrackers in a plastic sack and took it to the middle of the field before setting it on fire.

The material then exploded with a loud bang, accompanied by a burst of flames.

Police rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the explosion and recovered evidence, including wrappers marked 'Buri Ma' and discarded firecracker casings.

Bogura Sadar Police Station OC Ibrahim Ali said efforts were underway to identify those responsible.
