Unidentified man’s body recovered from Dhaka footpath

Police recovered the body of an unidentified man, aged around 65, from a footpath in Dhaka’s Ramna area on Friday morning.

The body was found opposite the gate of the NSI headquarters and was later sent to the Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.

Ramna Police Sub-Inspector Tanvir Hasan said police recovered the body after receiving information from passersby. Locals said the man appeared to be a vagrant.

Police suspect he may have died from illness. A CID forensic team has been notified to help identify him.
