DB arrests man with 500 yaba in Munshiganj

Police arrested a man accused in six cases with 500 yaba tablets during a drive by the Detective Branch (DB) in Munshiganj on Wednesday night.

The accused, Md Billal Hossain, 56, was arrested from the Manikpur area on Sadar Hospital Road in the town, according to a police press release.

Acting on a tip-off, a DB team led by SI Mohammad Kamrul Hasan conducted the operation on the instructions of Munshiganj Superintendent of Police Md Menhazul Alam.

Billal was arrested in front of Tamim Store with the yaba tablets. He lives in a rented house in the Manikpur area of Munshiganj town.
