DNCC launches 5 new trucks for waste management

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has launched five new container carrier trucks to improve and modernise waste management in the capital.

DNCC Administrator Md Shafiqul Islam Khan inaugurated the trucks at the corporation’s transport depot in Gabtoli on Thursday.

He said the new trucks would help remove household waste more quickly through secondary transfer stations (STSs). Another 10 container carrier trucks will be added in the future, he said.
