PM to address UN assembly in Bangla tonight

He is scheduled to speak at around 3AM on Thursday night, according to Mahdi Amin, spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office.

Amin made the announcement during a briefing at the lobby of the Hyatt Grand Central New York hotel in Manhattan.

He said Tarique Rahman would be the third member of his family to address the United Nations, following his father, late president Ziaur Rahman, and his mother, former prime minister Khaleda Zia.
