Three killed in Madaripur bus collision

Three people were killed and several others were injured in a collision between two buses in Shibchar upazila of Madaripur on Friday.

The accident occurred around noon, according to local sources.

The sources said the three victims died on the spot following the collision. Local residents rescued the injured and took them to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Police and other relevant authorities went to the scene after being informed and took steps to remove the two damaged buses from the road.

The accident caused traffic disruption on the road for some time.

The identities of the deceased and the details of the accident were not immediately known.
