Worker electrocuted at Lalmohan

BHOLA, Sept 26: A 19-year-old tube-well installation worker was electrocuted on Thursday afternoon while setting up a motor in the Uttar Fulbagicha area of Lalmohan Union’s Ward No. 4 in Lalmohan Upazila of the district.

The deceased Md Masum was a resident of Char Manika Union in neighbouring Char Fasson Upazila.

According to police and locals, Masum suffered a fatal electric shock while connecting the motor to a power source. Co-workers rushed him to the Lalmohan Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

Officer-in-Charge of Lalmohan Police Station Md Nazrul Islam Majumder confirmed that officers inspected the scene. As no formal complaints were filed, the body was handed over to the victim’s family.
