Universal medical to organise free heart camp in Dhaka, B‘baria

Universal Cardiac Hospital in Dhaka is set to organise a day-long free heart camp on September 29, marking World Heart Day 2026.

The camp will be held from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday at the hospital premises in Mohakhali, opposite Rawa. Patients attending the camp will receive free consultations from renowned cardiologists and cardiac surgeons, as well as specialists in kidney diseases, diabetes, thyroid and hormonal disorders.

A similar free heart camp will also be held on the same day at Universal Medical Services Limited on Jail Road in Brahmanbaria for local residents.

Patients attending the camp have been requested to bring copies of their angiogram CDs, if available, to assist doctors in reviewing their previous medical reports.

The organisers said general patients attending the camp will also receive a 25 percent discount on all hospital diagnostic tests. Members of the Universal Heart Club will be eligible for a 30 percent discount, subject to applicable conditions.

The initiative aims to provide accessible specialist cardiac consultations and encourage people to pay greater attention to heart health.
