Milestone man Virat Kohli powered India to an eight-wicket win over the West Indies on Sunday (September 27), reaching 15,000 ODI runs and hitting a century as India chased down 296 with 50 balls to spare.

Kohli became only the second batter after Sachin Tendulkar to reach the 15,000-run milestone in ODIs, achieving the feat in his 303rd innings. He remained unbeaten on 139, while Shubman Gill added 110 as India sealed a commanding victory.

Earlier, Justin Greaves scored 101 and John Campbell made 62 to help West Indies post 295-7. Kuldeep Yadav claimed 4-40 for India.

The victory gave India a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.
