Two women arrested with 1,400 yaba pills in Jatrabari

The Department of Narcotics Control arrested two women with 1,400 yaba tablets and 4kg of cannabis in Dhaka’s Jatrabari on Monday.

A team from the DNC’s Dhaka Metro (South) office conducted the raid based on a tip-off in the Dhalpur Lichubagan area and arrested Sumi Akter, 30, and Ruli Begum, 40.

DNC Inspector Md Lokman Hossain filed a case with Jatrabari Police Station over the incident. Further legal proceedings are underway.
