DNCC plans to repaint July graffiti on metro rail pillars

The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has taken an initiative to repaint July graffiti on metro rail pillars in Mirpur with the participation of city residents.

Titled ‘Let’s Remake July Graffiti’, the campaign was initiated by DNCC Administrator Shafiqul Islam Khan Milton.

According to a post on the DNCC’s verified Facebook page, the city corporation will decorate the metro rail pillars with July graffiti through public participation. The DNCC will provide paints, brushes and other necessary materials for the programme.

The post said cleaning work on the metro rail pillars is currently underway. The date, time and venue of the programme will be announced soon.

In a comment on the post, the DNCC said the city corporation would determine and announce the schedule and venue. Participants have been requested to remain present at the designated location at the scheduled time.

The DNCC also urged city residents to participate in the campaign.
