KUET’s 4th convocation likely on January 14

Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Masud met President and Chancellor Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at Bangabhaban on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the vice-chancellor briefed the chancellor on KUET’s academic and research activities, development projects and future plans.

He also sought the president’s consent to attend KUET’s long-awaited fourth convocation as chief guest. The president agreed and instructed the university to tentatively set January 14, 2027, for the convocation.

The final date will be announced later by the university authorities, according to a KUET press release.
