Madrasah Education Directorate warns against uploading infected files

The Directorate of Madrasah Education has warned that virus- or malware-infected files must not be uploaded or sent while submitting online applications for MPO-listed madrasahs. Applications or submitted documents may be cancelled if such files are found.

The directorate’s finance branch issued a notice in this regard on Wednesday, informing heads of MPO-listed madrasahs about the matter.

The notice said all files and documents attached to an online application must be checked carefully. After ensuring the accuracy of the documents, they should be submitted through the Directorate of Madrasah Education’s online system, MEMIS.

The directive said applicants must ensure that the computer or mobile device being used to upload files is free of viruses. Documents must be uploaded to MEMIS according to the prescribed file type and size. Applicants must also ensure beforehand that the files can be opened properly and are complete and readable.

The notice also said files containing any virus, malware, harmful code or other elements posing a security risk must not be sent.

The Directorate of Madrasah Education said applicants will be responsible for any problems in the application process caused by infected or unreadable files.

It also said the authorities may examine, reject or delete suspicious files if necessary for security reasons.
