
Urmi Group, one of Bangladesh’s leading apparel manufacturers and exporters, has received the Plan A Sustainability Award at the Marks & Spencer (M&S) Supplier Summit, recognising its sustainability performance within the retailer’s global supply chain.
The recognition positions Urmi Group as the most environmentally sustainable factory in Marks & Spencer’s global supply chain, marking a significant achievement for the company and Bangladesh’s apparel industry, says a press release.
Urmi Group has continued to strengthen sustainability across its manufacturing ecosystem, focusing on responsible resource use, environmental management and operational efficiency while supporting people and communities connected to its business.
Regarding this prestigious award the Managing Director of Urmi Group,Asif Ashraf said, “This recognition means the world to our entire team.
