New Germany coach Jurgen Klopp secured his first win as the team beat Serbia 2-0 in the UEFA Nations League in Munich on Thursday.
Bayern Munich midfielder Tom Bischof opened the scoring five minutes before halftime with his first international goal. Liverpool forward Florian Wirtz doubled the lead in the 61st minute.
Meanwhile, the Netherlands came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Greece. Fotis Ioannidis and Georgios Masouras put Greece 2-0 ahead in the first half before the Dutch fought back through Xavi Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders.
Greece remain top of the group with seven points, followed by the Netherlands on five and Germany on four.
Elsewhere, Wales beat Norway 2-1 in Cardiff for their first win of 2026. Norway took an early lead through Oscar Bobb, but Daniel James equalised before halftime. Neco Williams scored the winner after Norway’s Heggem was sent off in the 46th minute.
