Janhvi calls AI video ‘another form of sexual abuse’

Actress Janhvi Kapoor has spoken out against an AI-generated obscene video based on the popular song Chuttamalle from her Telugu film Devara.

Several stars, including Jr NTR and Chiranjeevi, have protested against the video. In an Instagram post, Janhvi described the non-consensual use of AI to objectify women and spread manipulated content as “another form of sexual abuse.”

She stressed that a woman’s consent, dignity, boundaries and decisions about her body must always be respected, regardless of what she wears or has previously agreed to.

Janhvi said threats against women have now spread to the digital world and called for a change in the mindset that allows people to violate others’ boundaries.

She also thanked NTR and Chiranjeevi for standing by her and speaking out against the video.
