A student of the Department of Civil Engineering at Presidency University has achieved an outstanding success in the AutoCAD Competition of Construct Carnival 2.0, organised by Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET).
Mashiur Rahman, a fourth-year student of the Department of Civil Engineering at Presidency University, secured second place in the AutoCAD Competition, which was participated in by 110 students from different universities across the country.
Competing with talented students from various universities, Mashiur Rahman’s achievement is a matter of pride for Presidency University. His success is a shining example of students’ technical skills, creativity and competitive abilities alongside their academic knowledge.
The guidance of Md Tahmid Mostafa, head of the Department of Civil Engineering, as well as the preparation, practice and encouragement provided by lecturers Farzanul Islam Himel and Sheikh Fardin Ahmed of the same department, played a significant role in this achievement.
The department regularly encourages students to participate in various academic and extracurricular activities to enhance their technical skills and create opportunities for them to showcase their talents at the national level. This achievement reflects those continued efforts.
