Brad Pitt and Jon Bernthal-starrer Fury has returned to the spotlight, ranking fifth among the most-streamed titles on Apple TV in the United States, 12 years after its theatrical release.
Directed by David Ayer, the 2014 World War II thriller stars Pitt as tank commander Don “Wardaddy” Collier, leading his crew through Germany during the final days of the war. Bernthal plays Grady “Coon-Ass” Travis, alongside Logan Lerman, Shia LaBeouf and Michael Peña.
Fury is currently ranking ahead of Palmer, F1: The Movie, I, Robot, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World and The Dink on Apple TV’s US streaming chart. It trails Good Will Hunting, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, Mayday and The Last First: Winter K2.
The film’s renewed popularity may be linked partly to Pitt’s recent collaboration with Ayer in Heart of the Beast, which has received a positive response from audiences. Pitt stars in the 2026 film as a Special Forces veteran who must survive in the Alaskan wilderness following a plane crash.
For Bernthal, Fury remains one of his few World War II projects apart from his small role in HBO’s The Pacific. It is also his only film collaboration with Pitt and Ayer to date.
Released in 2014, Fury received a 75% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and grossed around $211 million worldwide. Its renewed performance on Apple TV suggests that the World War II drama continues to attract viewers more than a decade after its theatrical release.
