Southeast Bank launches 7 agent outlets

Southeast Bank PLC has launched seven Agent Banking “Shagotom” outlets in Satkhira, Jashore, Faridpur, Manikganj, Brahmanbaria, Tangail and Bogura to expand banking services in rural and semi-urban areas.

Managing Director and CEO Md Khalid Mahmood Khan virtually inaugurated the outlets. Senior bank officials and representatives of the outlets attended the ceremony.

The outlets will offer account opening, cash deposits and withdrawals, fund transfers, remittance, loans, utility bill payments and other conventional and ‘Tijarah’ Islamic banking services.

The initiative aims to promote financial inclusion and bring banking services closer to underserved communities.
