Meghna Bank launches Bangla QR payment service

Meghna Bank PLC has launched its Bangla QR payment service through MeghnaPay, marking a step towards expanding integrated digital payment facilities and contributing to the vision of a Cashless Bangladesh.

Meghna Bank Managing Director Syed Mizanur Rahman inaugurated the service at the bank's head office.

Additional Managing Director Md Sadiqur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director Momtazul Karim N Ahmed and other senior officials of the bank were present at the launching event.

Through the new service, Meghna Bank customers can make payments through the MeghnaPay app by scanning any merchant's Bangla QR code. The service allows customers to pay for goods and services directly from their smartphones.

The launch is part of Meghna Bank's efforts to expand digital payment facilities and provide customers with greater convenience in making cashless transactions.
