The Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission has scheduled drug tests and medical examinations for 200 candidates provisionally selected for appointment as civil judges through the 18th Bangladesh Judicial Service Examination 2025.
According to a notice issued on Saturday (October 10), the drug tests will be held on Monday (October 12) at the National Institute of Laboratory Medicine and Referral Centre in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka.
The medical examinations will take place on Saturday (October 17) at three hospitals, based on the candidates’ merit positions.
Candidates ranked 1st to 70th will undergo medical examinations at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, those ranked 71st to 140th at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, and those ranked 141st to 200th at Sir Salimullah Medical College Mitford Hospital.
The commission published the examination’s final results on September 23, provisionally selecting 200 candidates for the entry-level post of civil judge.
The commission said provisional selection does not guarantee appointment. Nominations may be cancelled if candidates provide false information, conceal facts, fail to meet eligibility requirements, are declared medically unfit or receive adverse police verification reports.
