Career development seminar held in Laxmipur

LAXMIPUR, Oct 10: National Ideal School and College organised a day-long career development seminar at Laxmipur Town Hall on Saturday to help students plan their futures and make informed career choices.

Bangladesh Supreme Court lawyer and motivational speaker Barrister Al Mamun Russell delivered the keynote address. Special speakers included Global Youth Parliament Director Engineer Hasan Mahmud and Chunarughat Government College Lecturer Solaiman Haque Sojol.

The institution’s Principal Professor Rafiqul Islam chaired the seminar. Among those attending were the institution’s Directors Advocate Nizam Uddin Mahmud, Mawlana Faruk Hossain Nur Nabi and Abdul Karim, Vice-Principal Habibur Rahman Sabuj, teachers, invited educationists and a large number of students.

Speakers emphasised the importance of setting clear goals, managing time effectively, adapting to technological advances and building successful careers alongside academic studies.

Students actively participated in the discussions and sought advice from the speakers on various career-related issues.

Organisers said the institution plans to continue holding career-focused events to complement classroom education, broaden students’ perspectives and help them build a brighter future.
