Young man stabbed to death in N'ganj

A 36-year-old man was stabbed to death by miscreants in Bandar upazila of Narayanganj on Saturday night.

Deceased Russel was the son of late Sheikh Ahmad Mia and a resident of Dakshin Gharmora area.

The incident took place in an isolated spot behind Haji Asmat Ullah School in Dakshin Gharmora under Kalagachhia Union at night.

Getting information, police said a team from Bandar Police Station went to the spot and recovered Russel's body and, later, sent it to the morgue of Narayanganj General Hospital for an autopsy.

The motive behind the killing and the identities of those involved in the murder remain unknown.

Officer in-Charge of Bandar Police Station Jamal Uddin confirmed the matter.
