Madrasas given deadline to approve Alim admission applications

The Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board has instructed madrasas to complete the confirmation of admission applications submitted online by students in the first and second phases for Class XI (Alim) in the 2026–27 academic year by 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 13.

The directive was issued in a notice signed by the board’s Registrar, Professor SM Touhiduzzaman, on Sunday.

According to the notice, the relevant madrasas must confirm or approve the admission applications submitted in the first and second phases through the online admission system.

To complete the process, institutions must log in to the admission website, [xiclassadmission.gov.bd](https://www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd), using their Educational Institution Identification Number (EIIN) and password.

The notice also advised institutions to follow the “User Guide for Institutions” available on the admission website for instructions on confirming admissions.

The board warned that it would not take responsibility for any complications arising if madrasas fail to complete the confirmation or approval process within the stipulated deadline.
