Miscreants attack JaPa Chairman GM Quader's home

Unidentified miscreants launched an attack on the residence of Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman GM Quader in the capital's Uttara area on Monday (October 12) morning.

Confirming the incident, Shourya Deeptu Surya, press secretary to the Jatiya Party Chairman, stated in a message sent at 11:49 AM that a group of miscreants targeted GM Quader’s home in Sector 7 at around 10:40 AM.

Speaking to reporters, Surya said a mob of around 100 to 150 individuals gathered outside the residence and carried out the attack.

"We immediately informed the police following the incident. Police personnel have arrived at the spot and are inspecting the scene. Further details and the party's future course of action will be communicated shortly," he added.

Law enforcement personnel have deployed extra security around the area to maintain order and investigate the attack.
