Taylor Swift has reached 100 career weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, as her album 'The Life of a Showgirl' secured its 14th nonconsecutive week at the top of the chart dated October 17.
The milestone makes Swift the second act in chart history to accumulate 100 weeks at No. 1, behind The Beatles, who hold the record with 132 weeks. Swift’s total comes from 15 albums that have topped the chart, according to Billboard.
'The Life of a Showgirl' returned to the top after Swift released a deluxe edition on September 25, featuring four previously unreleased tracks, including “Patient Zero,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100.
The album earned 93,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the tracking week ending October 8, according to Luminate data reported by Billboard.
