Sayeman properties wins three awards at SATA 2026

Sayeman has achieved a significant milestone at the 10th South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2026, receiving three prestigious awards and marking its eighth consecutive year of recognition at the event.

The award ceremony took place in Malé, Maldives, on October 8, 2026. Cluster General Manager Pubudu Fernando accepted the awards on behalf of Sayeman.

At SATA 2026, Sayeman was recognised as the Leading Resort / Hotel Brand in Bangladesh, while Sayeman Beach Resort received the Leading Beach Hotel / Resort award and Sayeman Heritage won the Leading Heritage Hotel / Resort award.

The South Asian Travel Awards recognise excellence across the region’s travel and hospitality sector. Winning at SATA for eight consecutive years reflects Sayeman’s enduring presence in Bangladesh’s tourism industry and its commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.

Sayeman Beach Resort in Cox’s Bazar offers a modern beachfront stay, while Sayeman Heritage carries forward the legacy of the historic Sayeman name. Together, the two properties reflect a brand that blends tradition with contemporary hospitality, spanning more than six decades.

“As the Cluster General Manager leading both properties, I believe these achievements belong to every member of our team. They are the result of shared purpose, collaboration and the care that each colleague brings to their role every day. Teamwork is the foundation of our success, and together we continue to create the warm, gracious and welcoming experiences that reflect the very best of Bangladeshi hospitality.

“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated colleagues, valued guests, trusted business partners and well-wishers. Your confidence, encouragement and continued support inspire us to move forward with even greater determination.

“These awards encourage us to dream bigger, serve with greater passion and protect the Sayeman legacy for generations to come. Together, we will continue to welcome the world with the warmth of Bangladesh and raise the Sayeman flag with pride.”

The recognition also reflects the collective dedication of Sayeman’s management and team, whose work shapes guest experiences across its properties. Sayeman thanked its guests, partners and well-wishers for their continued support and reaffirmed its commitment to raising hospitality standards and showcasing Bangladesh’s tourism offerings on the international stage.

With roots dating back to 1964, Sayeman is a longstanding name in Bangladesh’s hospitality industry. Its portfolio includes Sayeman Beach Resort and Sayeman Heritage in Cox’s Bazar, combining contemporary resort experiences with a distinctive heritage legacy.
