Sonali Bank inks deal with MTB

Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) PLC’s card gateway has been integrated with Sonali Bank PLC’s Sonali Payment Gateway (SPG).

An agreement has been signed between the two banks to facilitate the collection of fees, charges and challan payments for various services provided by government and private institutions through SPG, using MTB’s card gateway. Payments can be made using Visa or Mastercard cards issued by any domestic or international bank, says a press release.

The agreement was signed and exchanged at a ceremony held at Sonali Bank’s head office conference room on Sunday. Sonali Bank Managing Director Md Shawkat Ali Khan and MTB Managing Director and CEO Syed Mahbubur Rahman signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Sonali Bank Deputy Managing Director Md Rafiqul Islam, General Manager Aklima Islam, MTB Chief Digital Officer Khalid Hossin and other officials from both banks were also present at the ceremony.
