Offshore bidding deadline extended

 
Bangladesh extends offshore bidding deadline to March 2027 to sales package for 2026 round made more accessible after talks with global oil companies "Bangladesh has extended the deadline for bid submission under the Offshore Bidding Round 2026 to March 31, 2027, from November 30, 2026, and has made the round’s Data Sales Package readily available," Petrobangla official said.

The moves follow recent discussions with and requests from various reputed international oil companies (IOCs) around the world regarding the Offshore Bidding Round 2026.

It is hoped that the deadline extension and the easier availability of the data package will increase the interest of IOC companies in participating in the bidding round.
