Edu Minister Milon leaves for China visit

Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr AHM Ehsanul Haque Milon left Dhaka on Wednesday for a three-day official visit to China.

Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, was present at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to see him off.

During his tour, the minister will attend the World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference 2026 in Tianjin.

He is also scheduled to attend the grand finale of the World Vocational College Skills Competition 2026 as an honored guest.

Bilateral meetings and the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to expand cooperation in the education sector are slated to take place during his visit.
