Humayun Kabir attends CICA summit in Baku

Foreign Affairs State Minister Humayun Kabir is leading Bangladesh’s delegation to the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Baku, Azerbaijan.

On Wednesday evening, he attended a gala dinner hosted by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at Gulustan Palace, where he exchanged greetings with heads of state and government, foreign ministers and other delegates.

The summit’s plenary session will be held at the Baku Convention Centre on Thursday, where Kabir is scheduled to deliver Bangladesh’s statement.

He is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with delegates from various countries on the sidelines to discuss issues of mutual interest.
