Meanwhile, Dr Rezwana Rashid, upazila health and family planning officer, raised concerns over the lack of registration of Mukti Bone Fracture Treatment Centre on Borganagar Road in Ward No. 5 of Kaliganj Municipality.
She said the facility would not be allowed to provide any medical services without registration and would be brought under closure measures.
Officials from the upazila health and family planning office, the food safety department, the Department of Narcotics Control's Gazipur district office and the mobile court were present during the drives.
Al-Amin Halder said the drives were being conducted to protect public health, ensure consumer rights and prevent drug abuse.
“Necessary rules and documentation must be ensured in food production and healthcare services. Drives against drug consumption and other illegal activities will continue,” he said.
