One killed, two injured in motorcycle crash in Rangamati

A 21-year-old man was killed and two others injured in a motorcycle accident at Love Point on the Baradam Road in Rangamati on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Sokel Chakma, 21. The injured were Swagata Chakma, 19, and Shanta Chakma, 19. All three were residents of Barkal upazila in Rangamati district.

The injured were rescued and taken to Rangamati General Hospital for treatment.

Swagata Chakma is a resident of Tagalkchhara in Ward No. 8 of Harina Union under Barkal upazila. His parents are Udangmoni Chakma and Chanchala Chakma.

Shanta Chakma hails from Siyam Para in Ward No. 8 of Aimachhara area in the same upazila. His parents are Riten Chakma and Malina Chakma.

The circumstances leading to the accident were not immediately known.
