Iran has warned the United States and Israel that any future miscalculation would be met with a harsher and more devastating response.
Major General Ali Abdollahi, chief of the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces and commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said it would be a mistake to test Iran’s capabilities and resolve again.
According to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, as cited by Pars Today, Abdollahi made the remarks in a message addressed to US and Israeli leaders.
He said that if Iran’s adversaries had been capable of carrying out their threats, they would have done so by now. Referring to previous conflicts, he claimed that Iran’s enemies had repeatedly declared their intention to overthrow the Islamic Republic, divide the country and destroy it, but Iran remained standing.
The Iranian general also criticised the US president, claiming that American society and residents of the occupied territories were aware of the weaknesses of the US political leadership. However, the report did not provide evidence supporting the claim.
Abdollahi said Iran’s resistance was rooted in the determination of its Supreme Leader, public support, the commitment of officials and the morale of its armed forces.
Warning against further confrontation, he said, “It is a mistake to test what has already been tested. We eagerly await your foolish decisions.”
He further warned that the next “roar” would be closer, more devastating and harder to intercept or detect.
His remarks underscored Iran’s firm stance towards the United States and Israel and its threat to deliver a stronger response in any future conflict. However, he did not disclose any specific timeline, targets or plans for potential military action.
