Man electrocuted in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Oct 19: A 45-year-old man died of electrocution on Sunday morning while unplugging an electric three-wheeler charger at his home in Char Gobra Village in Gopalganj Sadar Upazila.

The victim, Al-Amin Kazi, was the son of Belayet Kazi, a resident of the village.

According to hospital sources, Kazi was unplugging the charger after charging his electric three-wheeler when he accidentally suffered an electric shock and was critically injured. 

Family members rescued him and took him to Gopalganj 250-bed General Hospital, where on-duty physician Dr Faruk Ahmed declared him dead.
