Birth, death registration suspended for six days

Online birth and death registration services across the country will remain suspended for six days due to maintenance of the Birth and Death Registration Information System (BDRIS).

The Office of the Registrar General announced the decision in a notice issued on Monday (October 19).

According to the notice, all birth and death registration activities will remain suspended from 6 PM on October 19 to 6 AM on October 25.

The temporary suspension has been imposed to carry out necessary maintenance work on the registration software, the notice said.
