“The attacks by the Houthis, targeting our friend and brotherly nation, Saudi Arabia, have caused a significant escalation in regional tensions.”
“While there is some positive news coming out of Syria, the Zionist state of Israel is doing everything in its power to stir up trouble there as well.”
Israeli forces have arrested a civilian during an incursion into the northern countryside of Syria’s Quneitra governorate, according to Syrian state news agency SANA.
Several military vehicles entered the area around the al-Alam roundabout on Monday, where troops set up a checkpoint, searched passersby, and arrested one civilian, the agency reported.
The arrest follows the detention of two civilians during an Israeli incursion into the village of al-Hurriya in northern Quneitra on Sunday, SANA said.
Syria’s Foreign Ministry has condemned escalating Israeli incursions into Quneitra and Deraa, calling them a violation of Syrian sovereignty and urging the international community to intervene." AL JAZEERA
