Dear Sir,
Education is a fundamental right, yet financial constraints prevent many talented students from pursuing higher education. Tuition fees and other expenses force underprivileged students to abandon their academic aspirations. Although government scholarships exist, they remain insufficient to meet the needs of eligible students.
The government must make university education more affordable and recognise it as an investment in the country’s future. Higher education produces skilled professionals, creates employment opportunities and contributes to economic growth. Therefore, financial hardship should never prevent capable students from pursuing their dreams.
The government should expand scholarships and introduce effective financial assistance programmes to ensure equal access to university education. A student’s family background should not determine their educational opportunities. If Bangladesh aims to build a skilled and productive workforce, it must ensure that every talented student has the opportunity to pursue higher education, regardless of their financial circumstances.
