The selection (test) examinations for the 2027 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams must be conducted between October 28 and November 10, according to the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.
Educational institutions have been instructed to publish the test examination results by November 15. Participation in the test exams has been made mandatory for all regular students.
According to the committee, regular examinees will sit for the test exams based on the question format of the 2027 SSC syllabus. Marks for Physical Education, Health Science and Sports, and Career Education will be awarded through continuous assessment following National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) guidelines.
Schools will submit continuous assessment marks to respective examination centres. Centres will then upload continuous assessment and practical exam marks to the board’s website, while submitting handwritten original marksheets directly to the secondary examination branch.
Earlier on August 24, the coordination committee announced the schedule for the 2027 SSC and equivalent examinations. The written examinations are scheduled to begin on March 14, 2027, and conclude on April 15, while practical examinations will be completed by April 22.
